1Tbsp black tea leaves - either Two Leaves' Assam or English Breakfast sachets or loose teas.
1/4 teaspoon cocoa powder
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
4 cups water
1/4 cup black cherry juice
Maraschino cherries with stems
Combine tea leaves, cocoa powder and cinnamon.
Boil water and pour over tea/spices. Steep for 5 min then strain.
Cool completely then add cherry juice.
Serve over ice with maraschino cherries.
Add a splash of cream (optional).
