Black Forest Iced Tea


  • 1Tbsp black tea leaves - either Two Leaves' Assam or English Breakfast sachets or loose teas.

  • 1/4 teaspoon cocoa powder

  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 4 cups water

  • 1/4 cup black cherry juice

  • Maraschino cherries with stems


  1. Combine tea leaves, cocoa powder and cinnamon.

  2. Boil water and pour over tea/spices. Steep for 5 min then strain.

  3. Cool completely then add cherry juice.

  4. Serve over ice with maraschino cherries.

  5. Add a splash of cream (optional).
