INGREDIENTS

  • 2 Tbsp Torani Puremade Toasted Black Sesame Syrup

  • 2-4 Tbsp cooked boba pearls

  • 1/3 cup brewed black tea, chilled

  • 2/3 cup oat milk

  • Whipped cream

  • Black sesame powder, to garnish (optional)


INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Prepare black tea following instructions on the tea package.

  2. Chill the tea in the refrigerator OR (for a quicker method) add ice cubes to the tea, stir until tea is chilled, and then remove the ice cubes; set tea aside.

  3. Prepare the boba pearls following instructions on the boba package.

  4. Add the fresh pearls to your glass of choice.

  5. Pour in 1/3 cup of black tea.

  6. Add Torani Puremade Toasted Black Sesame Syrup.

  7. Fill the glass with oat milk.

  8. Stir gently until the liquids are combined.

BOBA PEARL INGREDIENTS

  • 16 oz. of Tea Zone White Tapioca Pearls (Boba)

  • 5 quarts water

SUGAR MIXTURE INGREDIENTS

  • ¼ cup Dark Brown Sugar OR ½ cup Tea Zone Brown Sugar Syrup

  • ¼ cup turbinado sugar

  • 3 cups hot water


BOBA PEARL INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Bring water to a boil.

  2. Add tapioca pearls into the boiling water and stir.

  3. Cook at a rolling boil for 15 minutes, occasionally stirring so boba doesn’t stick.

  4. Turn off heat and let sit for an additional 15 minutes.

SUGAR MIXTURE INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a separate container, combine dark brown sugar, turbinado sugar and hot water. Stir well until diluted.

  2. Carefully, pour boba into a colander to strain then rinse with cool water.

  3. Add the rinsed boba into the sugar mixture and soak for at least 20 minutes before serving.

NOTES

Now that you have your golden boba prepared, you can make golden milk tea boba! While you can put them in any type of beverage, the beige color of a milk tea helps make the caramel-colored balls pop. To assemble the drink, just follow these few steps: Take a scoop of the golden boba pearls into your serving glass, then add a layer of ice. Next, pour your favorite brewed black tea that’s at room temperature or cold. Of course, you can use other tea leaves, black tea offers a lighter taste that allows the sweet boba to shine. Lastly, top off the tea with your choice of milk or non-dairy milk. It’s sweet and satisfying all year long!

INGREDIENTS

  • 3/4 oz. Monin Spiced Brown Sugar Syrup

  • 4 oz. fresh brewed black tea

  • 3 oz. oat milk

  • 2 tbsp. tapioca boba pearls

  • Bursting/Popping Boba Pearls to garnish

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Fill serving glass full of ice.

  2. Pour ingredients into serving glass in order listed.

  3. Pour mixture into mixing tin and back into serving glass to mix.

  4. Add garnish and serve!
